What the Palm Jebel Ali Frond P handover date means for payments
Frond P was sold on a 20/60/20 plan: 20% on booking, 60% during construction and 20% on handover (Property Finder; Continental Club). At the AED 18 million launch price, the handover payment is AED 3.6 million. That payment falls due when Nakheel issues the handover notice for the villa, so it moves if the frond finishes after 29 September 2027. No post-handover plan has been published for Frond P.
What to check before relying on the Palm Jebel Ali Frond P date
- The completion date in the SPA and its grace period, which may differ from the register’s 29 September 2027.
- The next DLD inspection for project 2590. A reading well above 34.65% in late 2026 would support the September 2027 date.
- Whether Nakheel names Frond P in its first handover phase. Its late 2026 start has so far been stated for the island, not for any frond.
- On a resale, how much of the 60% construction share is already paid, since the last 20% falls due at handover.
