Skyz by Danube handover date: the latest position
Skyz by Danube is handed over. Danube’s internal inspection of 31 October 2025 records the Building Completion Certificate and the civil defence completion certificate obtained, testing and commissioning done, DEWA water and power connected, and customer viewings in progress. A Dubai Land Department inspection then recorded the tower 100% complete on 19 November 2025, and the register lists it as ready. Prices, rents and service charges are on the Skyz by Danube page.
The tower finished about a year late. Danube aimed for completion in 2024 when it launched Skyz in October 2021, and the DLD register still holds 1 November 2024 as the project’s completion date. Key collection ran on into 2026: actor Kiku Sharda received his apartment in May 2026.

Skyz was sold on Danube’s 1% monthly plan. Continental Club lists the developer plan as 10% down, 32% during construction, 10% on handover and 48% after handover. Real Estate Club Dubai describes the post-handover part as about 48 monthly payments of 1% each, so most owners took keys with close to half the price still owed to Danube (June 2026). For an owner who took keys in late 2025, 48 monthly payments run to late 2029.
That tail matters for resale. A unit with instalments still owed to Danube needs the balance settled, or the plan transferred with Danube’s consent, before a clean sale or a bank mortgage can go through.
What to check when buying a resale unit at Skyz by Danube
- The outstanding balance owed to Danube on that unit, and whether the seller will clear it at transfer, since many owners are still inside the post-handover plan.
- Whether the title deed has been issued or the unit is still held under an off-plan registration while the plan runs.
- The 2026 service charge position. The RERA-approved rate is AED 14.66 per sq ft a year (DLD service charge index via Continental Club), and arrears pass with the unit.
- Furnishing and snagging. Skyz units were delivered furnished, so check the inventory and any open snagging items from the 2025 handover.
