When will Dubai Maritime City be completed?
Short answer
Dubai Maritime City has no single completion date. DP World is the master developer, and each residential tower has its own registered completion date on the Dubai Land Department (DLD) register, the latest being 31 December 2029 for Chelsea Residences, Chelsea Residences 2 and Prestige One Residences. Two towers are complete: Anwa (2022) and Riva Residence, recorded 100% built on 22 December 2025. Nautica One and Two were the most advanced of the rest at 85.19% and 85.45% (DLD inspection, 3 September 2026), while Mar Casa was 56.45% built on 4 August 2026 against a registered date of 31 October 2026.

Dubai Maritime City completion date: the latest position
Dubai Maritime City will not be completed on one date. DP World runs the district, and the residential towers are built by separate developers, each with its own registered completion date on the Dubai Land Department register. In October 2026 those dates ran from 31 October 2026 for Mar Casa to 31 December 2029 for DAMAC’s Chelsea Residences and Prestige One Residences. Two towers are complete. Anwa by Omniyat was finished in 2022, and Riva Residence by Vakson was recorded 100% built on 22 December 2025. Nautica One and Two are next, both above 85% built in September 2026.

DLD figures come from the register as republished by Continental Club and Mitchells Commercial Realty (September and October 2026). The DLD land area for these towers is Madinat Dubai Almelaheyah. The same land area also covers Mina Rashid buildings marketed as part of Rashid Yachts and Marina, such as Seascape, registered for 30 November 2026.

What the Dubai Maritime City dates mean for payments
Each developer sets its own plan. Mar Casa asks 12% at booking with instalments linked to construction (Real Estate Club Dubai), so the remaining payments follow the building’s progress rather than the 31 October 2026 date on file. For towers with no registered completion date filed, such as Nautica, Oceanz 1 and Coral Reef, the SPA is the only document that fixes when the handover payment falls due.
What to check before relying on a Dubai Maritime City date
- Whether the tower is in Dubai Maritime City or Mina Rashid. Both sit in the DLD land area Madinat Dubai Almelaheyah.
- Which Oceanz or Chelsea building a unit is in. Oceanz 1 and Oceanz 3 were about 30 points apart in August 2026.
- Passed registered dates. Anwa Aria’s 31 January 2026 date and Mar Casa’s 31 October 2026 date sit well ahead of their build progress.
- The developer’s own date. Beyond and Danube have both given dates that differ from portals and the register.

When will Dubai Maritime City be completed?
There is no single date. Towers on the DLD register carry completion dates from 31 October 2026 (Mar Casa) to 31 December 2029 (Chelsea Residences and Prestige One Residences). DP World has not published an end date for the district.
Has Riva Residence been completed?
Yes, on the DLD register. Riva Residence by Vakson was recorded 100% built at the inspection of 22 December 2025, against a registered completion date of 25 September 2025 (Mitchells, 5 October 2026).
Will Mar Casa be ready by October 2026?
It is unlikely. Mar Casa by Deyaar is registered for 31 October 2026 but was 56.45% built at the DLD inspection of 4 August 2026.
When will Oceanz by Danube be completed?
Bayut lists Q1 2027, and Danube's July 2026 statement named Oceanz 1 to 3 among projects to hand over within 12 months. DLD inspections in August 2026 put Oceanz 1 at 50.04%, Oceanz 2 at 42.03% and Oceanz 3 at 20.64%, and Oceanz 1 has no registered completion date filed.
