When will MAG 777 be handed over?

MAG 777 has passed its registered completion date. The DLD project register holds 15 January 2026, and a DLD inspection on 30 July 2026 recorded the tower 67.37% complete, up from 58.74% on 2 April 2026 (DLD register via Continental Club, updated 5 October 2026). Portals including Dubainary now list Q3 2026, but MAG has not published a revised date and the register has not been updated.

At the pace recorded between April and July 2026, about 2.2 points a month, the remaining 33 points would take about 15 months. That points to late 2027 unless the pace picks up for fit-out and finishing.

MAG 777 construction update

The DLD register records project number 3193, registered on 4 October 2024, with a construction start of 1 November 2024. The building is planned as a basement, ground floor, a tech level, 19 typical floors and a roof, with its escrow account at Emirates NBD.

At launch on 8 October 2024, MAG said the tower was already 60% complete (Middle East Construction News). That does not match the DLD record, which showed 58.74% only in April 2026, so the two measures differ.
