When will Binghatti Moonlight be handed over?

The registered completion date for Binghatti Moonlight is 15 June 2026. That is the date the Dubai Land Department holds for DLD project 3722, and Property Finder gives the same day. Binghatti’s own page still says Q2 2026. The date has passed and the building is not finished.

The last DLD inspection, on 29 June 2026, put construction at 19.24%. The register had not added a newer inspection or a new date by 4 October 2026. One broker listing gives a later handover of 31 March 2027 (Lucretia International), but Binghatti has not published a revised date. With about four fifths of the work still to do at the June inspection, the 2026 date cannot be met.

Binghatti Moonlight construction update

The DLD register records construction starting on 15 April 2025, with a first inspection on 29 April 2025. Fourteen months later, on 29 June 2026, the tower was 19.24% complete. That is the most recent published figure. Propsearch names Millionaire Building Contracting as main contractor, with Silver Stone Engineering Consultants on the foundations. Buyer payments are held in an escrow account at Dubai Islamic Bank (DLD register).

The plot was first meant for another project, Shaghayegh Residence, which was cancelled (Propsearch). The DLD lists the project value at AED 256 million.

Binghatti Moonlight homes and sizes

Moonlight is a 26 storey mixed use tower on the Al Jaddaf Waterfront, next to Binghatti Twilight. Binghatti describes four basement levels, three podium levels, office floors, one floor mixing offices and homes, 18 residential floors and a rooftop with a pool and gym. The DLD register lists 286 units: 126 one bedroom, 106 two bedroom and 4 three bedroom apartments, 47 offices and 3 shops.

Sizes are the typical range from the DLD register (Continental Club, accessed 11 October 2026). Property Finder lists 1 bedrooms up to 925 sq ft.

Binghatti Moonlight prices and resale

Property Finder records booking opening on 15 April 2025, with 1 bedrooms from about AED 1.5 million, 2 bedrooms from AED 1.9 million and 3 bedrooms from AED 3 million. The project was publicised more widely in July 2025 (Prelaunch.ae, 9 July 2025).

The DLD has registered 259 sales since 2025, all but one bought from the developer. The median is AED 1,512,999 for a 1 bedroom and AED 2,108,999 for a 2 bedroom (Continental Club, DLD data updated 3 October 2026). Dubai Handover puts the median at AED 1,934 per sq ft in 2025 and AED 1,999 per sq ft in 2026. Recent sales include a 934 sq ft 2 bedroom at AED 1,899,999 on 21 September 2026, a 1,018 sq ft 2 bedroom at AED 2 million on 18 September 2026, and a 809 sq ft 1 bedroom at AED 1,327,579 on 3 September 2026. Property Finder marks the project sold out from the developer.

Binghatti Moonlight payment plan

Binghatti sells Moonlight on its standard plan: 20% on signing the contract, 50% during construction and 30% on completion. The 30% completion payment is the largest single instalment. On a 1 bedroom at the AED 1,512,999 DLD median, it comes to about AED 453,900, and it moves with the handover date.

Binghatti Developers says it delivered 20,000 units before 2024 (Binghatti Skyhall brochure, 2025). Several of its Al Jaddaf and Dubai Sports City towers have also passed 2026 dates: Binghatti Starlight and Binghatti Haven both had registered completion dates of 31 March 2026 and were 63.11% and 76.13% complete at their May 2026 DLD inspections. What to check before buying at Binghatti Moonlight

1. The completion date and grace period in the SPA, since the registered 15 June 2026 date has passed and no new date is public.
2. The latest DLD percentage for project 3722, through the DLD project status enquiry service, as the last published figure is from June 2026.
3. Whether the unit is an apartment or an office. The 47 offices and 3 shops sit in the same tower but trade at different prices per sq ft.
4. For a resale, how much of the 50% construction share the seller has paid, and what the 30% completion payment will be.
