Samana Barari Lagoons is registered with the Dubai Land Department (DLD) for completion on 31 March 2028. At the last DLD inspection, on 2 June 2026, the tower was 11.84% complete. Prices, sizes and the payment plan are on the project page: Samana Barari Lagoons.
Samana’s own project page now states an anticipated handover of Q3 2028, up to six months after the registered date. Between February and June 2026 the tower gained 1.97 points, about half a point a month. Reaching 100% by 31 March 2028 would need about four points a month.

The registered date sits three years after the start of construction. The tower reached about 10% in its first ten months, then slowed to about half a point a month in early 2026. Samana’s own date has moved from April 2028 to Q3 2028, while the register has not been changed.
What the Samana Barari Lagoons handover date means for payments
Samana’s plan without post-dated cheques takes 20% on booking, 1% a month for 42 months, 10% in month 12 and 5% in month 18, then 0.5% a month for 46 months. Property Finder summarises it as 20% on booking, 56% during construction, 1% on handover and 23% after handover. Because the 1% instalments are counted in months from booking, a buyer who booked in early 2025 would finish them around mid 2028, whether or not the tower is ready by then. The 0.5% monthly tail, 23% of the price, then runs for almost four years.
