The Dubai Land Department (DLD) project register lists a registered completion date of 30 June 2029 for Sakura Gardens (DLD register via Continental Club, updated 7 October 2026). Construction is at an early stage. The last DLD inspection, on 21 September 2026, recorded 3.58% progress, up from 1.43% at the previous inspection on 11 June 2026. At groundbreaking in May 2026, HRE still targeted Q4 2028, so the developer’s own date has moved back by one quarter since then, while the registered date sits a further quarter later.

Under HRE’s 20/35/10/35 plan, buyers pay 20% within 60 days of booking and 1% a month for 35 months during construction. A further 10% is due on handover, and the last 35% is paid at 1% a month for 35 months after handover (HRE Development). On the AED 874,000 median studio price, that is about AED 87,400 at handover and about AED 8,740 a month afterwards. Because the construction instalments run on a fixed 35 month schedule, a later completion date does not stop them; it only moves the handover payment and the start of the post-handover instalments.
