The Dubai Land Department (DLD) project register lists 31 March 2029 as the registered completion date for Palace Residences Creek Blue (DLD register via Continental Club, updated 9 September 2026). The last published DLD inspection, on 9 June 2026, recorded 20.52% progress. At that point about 22 months had passed since the recorded construction start on 1 August 2024, and about 33 months remained to the registered date.

Propsearch lists two buildings, Tower 1 and Tower 2, of 54 and 16 storeys, and Continental Club’s summary of the DLD register also counts two buildings. Property Finder lists one 55 storey tower. The DLD publishes one progress figure and one completion date for the whole project, number 3147.

• 1 August 2024: bookings open and construction start is recorded, with expected completion on 31 March 2029 (Property Finder; DLD register).
• 22 August 2025: Emaar appoints Engineering Contracting Company as main contractor. MEED reports the contract scheduled for completion by 2028.
• 11 November 2025: progress at 8.48% (Property Finder).
• 24 February 2026: DLD inspection at about 16.7%, based on the 3.78 point gain to the next inspection.
• March 2026: interior fit-out contract awarded to Abanos (Propsearch).
• 9 June 2026: DLD inspection at 20.52%. The registered completion date stays 31 March 2029.

Under the launch plan of 10% on booking, 80% during construction and 10% on handover (Propsearch; Property Finder), most of the price is paid before completion and 10% falls due at handover. On a 1 bedroom at the DLD median of AED 2.03 million, that final payment is about AED 203,000. Continental Club shows a different split with 38% after handover, so the schedule attached to each SPA governs what is due in March 2029. Property Finder lists the project as sold out from Emaar, so new buyers come in through resales and take over the seller’s remaining instalments, including the handover payment.

What to check before relying on the Palace Residences Creek Blue date

1. Which building the unit is in, since a 16 storey block and a 54 storey tower may not finish together.
2. The completion date and grace period in the SPA for that unit.
3. The seller’s paid and outstanding instalments on a resale, checked against Emaar’s statement of account for the unit.
4. The DLD inspection due after June 2026, through the DLD project status service.
