Imperial Residence in Dubai Production City was registered with the Dubai Land Department (DLD) for completion on 30 April 2026. That date has passed. The last published DLD inspection, on 5 January 2026, recorded the eight-storey building 43% complete, and the register still showed 43% and an active status on 7 October 2026 (UAE Property Checker). No revised date has been published. Property Finder and Data Habibi still showed Q2 2026 in October 2026, a quarter that has already ended. One broker site, Belcato, described the building as handed over in Q2 2026, which conflicts with the register.

Both published plans put 50% of the price on handover: 25/25/50 on Property Finder and 10/40/50 on Data Habibi. With the building unfinished, that payment has not fallen due. On an 849 sq ft 1 bedroom bought for AED 1,199,000 in April 2026, the handover payment would be about AED 600,000. Buyers’ payments go into the project escrow account, and the developer draws on it against certified construction progress.

- The grace period in the SPA. The registered date was 30 April 2026, and the SPA sets the buyer’s rights once any grace period after that date runs out.
