Regent Developments has not updated its public date. Its project page still shows an anticipated handover of Q2 2027, the same target it gave at groundbreaking in July 2025. Portals now show Q1 2028, closer to the registered date.

Regent has not announced a new date. The gap between Q2 2027 and the registered 2 January 2028 is about seven months. With 8.74% built in June 2026, meeting the registered date would require the remaining 91% within about 19 months.
What the Golf Grove by Regent handover date means for payments
Regent’s fact sheet sets out 10% on booking, 10% on signing the SPA, 40% during construction and 40% on handover. The construction share is split into four instalments of 10%, 5%, 5% and 10%, set on dates a few months apart rather than on progress milestones, according to broker listings of the plan. That means buyers may have paid most of the 60% pre-handover share well before the building is close to finished. The final 40% is due at completion, so a later handover also pushes back the largest single payment and any mortgage needed for it.
What to check before relying on the Golf Grove by Regent date
- The completion date in the SPA. Contracts signed in 2025 may state Q2 2027, which is earlier than the registered date. The grace period in the SPA sets when a delay claim can start.
- Whether construction instalments are dated or tied to progress. Dated instalments fall due regardless of how far the building has risen.
- The next DLD inspection. A reading well above 8.74% would support a 2027 or early 2028 finish; a small rise would point later.
