When is the Elitz by Danube handover date?
Short answer
Danube's project pages give October 2026 for Elitz 1 and December 2027 for Elitz 2, both later than the dates announced at launch. The Dubai Land Department (DLD) inspection of 13 August 2026 put Elitz 1 at 80.97%, and the inspection of 28 September 2026 put Elitz 2 at 20.01%. The DLD registered completion date for Elitz 1, 31 December 2025, has passed, and Elitz 2 has no registered date.

Elitz by Danube handover date: the latest position
Danube Elitz in Jumeirah Village Circle is two separate DLD projects. Danube’s project page for Elitz 1 now gives October 2026, and the page for Elitz 2 gives December 2027. The DLD inspection of 13 August 2026 put Elitz 1 at 80.97%, and the inspection of 28 September 2026 put Elitz 2 at 20.01% (Mitchells; Continental Club). Prices and sizes for both phases are on the Elitz by Danube page.
Elitz 1 is close to finishing: Danube’s own inspection on 31 August 2026 recorded 90%, with snagging in progress and the civil defence inspection next. In July 2026 Danube named Elitz 1 among 11 projects due within 12 months (Gulf News, 30 July 2026). Elitz 2 is at an early stage and was not on that list. Building names follow the DLD transaction register. The DLD gives one progress figure for each project, not each tower. Danube reports that concrete and blockwork are complete in both Elitz 1 towers.

What the Elitz by Danube handover date means for payments
Both phases were sold on Danube’s 1% monthly plan, with the balance due when the building is ready. In its Elitz 2 launch release Danube said buyers usually move in after paying about 60% of the price. A buyer keeps paying 1% a month until completion, so the delay at each phase means more of the price is paid in instalments and a smaller balance remains at handover. The exact split depends on each buyer’s booking date and SPA.
What to check before relying on the Elitz by Danube date
- Which Elitz phase the unit is in. Elitz 1 and Elitz 2 are more than a year apart on Danube’s own dates, and Elitz 3 is separate again.
- The SPA date and grace period for Elitz 1, since its DLD registered date of 31 December 2025 has passed.
- Whether Elitz 2 has a completion date on the DLD register for project 2693, through DLD’s project status enquiry service.
- For Elitz 1, the civil defence and completion certificates, the last steps Danube lists before handover.
