When is the Creek Waters handover date?

Creek Waters handover date: the latest position

Creek Waters is registered for completion on 30 September 2027. That is the date the Dubai Land Department holds for project number 2614, and Property Finder and Propsearch give the same Q3 2027. The DLD site inspection of 3 August 2026 recorded the tower 81.08% complete, up 8.9 points from the inspection of 10 April 2026. More on prices and sizes is on the Creek Waters page.

Creek Waters 2, the twin tower next to it, is registered for 31 December 2027, three months later. Its DLD inspection of 31 July 2026 recorded 81.84%, slightly ahead of Creek Waters. The two towers started a week apart in August 2023 and are at almost the same stage, so the later date for Creek Waters 2 reflects the registered schedule rather than slower building. For Creek Waters, about 19% of the work remained at the August inspection, with 14 months to the registered date.

Creek Waters handover date by building

The DLD register lists each tower as a separate project, with its own progress figure and registered date. Both are described as 2 basements, ground, podium and 50 floors.

Creek Waters 2 gained about 8 points between the DLD inspections of 20 April and 31 July 2026, a similar pace to Creek Waters (Continental Club, DLD data).

How the Creek Waters handover date has changed

Neither date has moved since sales opened.

Kredium gives October 2027 for Creek Waters, a month after the registered date; every other source checked gives September 2027 or Q3 2027.

What the Creek Waters handover date means for payments

Both towers use a 10/80/10 plan: 10% at booking, 80% during construction and 10% on handover. The Creek Waters launch schedule ran on fixed dates: 10% at booking, then 10% in June 2023, December 2023 and June 2024, 15% in February 2025 and September 2025, 10% in April 2026 and October 2026, and the final 10% in September 2027.

On that schedule, buyers from launch have paid 90% by October 2026, and only the last 10% lines up with completion. On a 1 bedroom at the AED 1.6 million launch price, that final payment is AED 160,000. A detailed schedule for Creek Waters 2 was not found, though it uses the same 10/80/10 split.

What to check before relying on the Creek Waters date

1. Which tower your unit is in. Creek Waters and Creek Waters 2 have different registered dates even though their progress is almost the same.
2. Whether your SPA ties the last 10% to a calendar date or to completion. The launch schedule named September 2027, so a later completion could leave that payment due before keys are handed over, or move it, depending on the wording.
3. For a resale unit, Emaar’s statement of account, since most of the price was due by October 2026 and the buyer takes over whatever remains.
