The latest DLD inspection, on 24 March 2026, recorded 2% complete. The register was updated on 5 October 2026 without a newer inspection, so there is no independent progress figure for the six months since.

Because Azizi did not publish a launch date, there is no clear “original promise” to measure against. The Q4 2027 date has circulated on listings since launch. Azizi’s wider record suggests caution with early dates: its Azizi Venice buildings missed the Q1 2026 date given in October 2025, and in September 2026 Azizi said handovers across its projects run “through 2026 and into 2027” (GDN, 15 September 2026).
What the Azizi David handover date means for payments
On the 50/50 plan most listed in 2026, 10% is paid on booking, 40% in four 10% instalments, and 50% on handover. On a AED 826,000 studio the handover payment is AED 413,000. Under the 10/60/30 option, 30% is due on handover. If handover lands in late 2028 rather than late 2027, the largest payment moves back by about a year, but date-based instalments before it do not.
What to check before relying on the Azizi David date
- The completion date in the SPA, since some buyers may hold Q4 2027 in sales material and the register says 30 September 2028.
- The next DLD inspection. Progress was 2% in March 2026, and none has been published since.
- Whether the instalments follow dates or construction stages, so payments do not run far ahead of the build.
- The unit’s position in the tower. Most of the 256 units are studios of 323 to 338 sq ft, so many similar units will hand over at the same time.
