Alba Tower has a registered completion date of 30 June 2028 in the DLD project register. Broker listings still show a Q4 2027 handover, so the register is about two quarters later than the date most buyers see. Prices, sizes and the payment plan are on the Alba Tower page.

The last DLD inspection, on 27 July 2026, recorded 30.92% complete. The tower is 22 months into a registered build of about 45 months, and a third of the work is done, which is broadly consistent with the June 2028 date but leaves little room for Q4 2027.

Alba Tower is one building of two basements, a ground floor, eight floors and a roof, so all homes share the one date. The register lists 73 homes; brochures say 72. Mitchells counts 41 registered sales by 11 September 2026, so more than half the homes have owners waiting on the same date. The sales are mostly 1 bedrooms of 416 to 853 sq ft and 2 bedrooms of 686 to 840 sq ft.

The Q4 2027 date was the launch target. The register has carried 30 June 2028 since construction was registered, so the gap is between the marketed date and the filed date rather than a recent change.

What the Alba Tower handover date means for payments

Under the main plan, 39% of the price is due on handover, after 20% at booking and 41 monthly instalments of 1% (Tanami Properties). Under the 15% discount plan for 1 bedrooms, 29% is due on handover. On a 1 bedroom at the registered median of AED 905,000, a 39% handover payment is about AED 353,000. If handover comes in June 2028 rather than late 2027, that payment moves back by about six months. The 41 monthly instalments run from the booking date, so a buyer who booked at launch in early 2024 would pay the last of them in mid 2027, about a year before the registered completion date.

What to check before relying on the Alba Tower date

1. Which date the SPA states, Q4 2027 or 30 June 2028, and the grace period after it.
2. The developer named in the SPA and escrow, since some broker pages credit Reportage Properties while the register shows Century Seven Properties.
3. The next DLD inspection after July 2026, to see whether progress keeps pace with a mid 2028 finish.
