When will Symbolic Zen Residences be handed over?

The Dubai Land Department (DLD) register gives Symbolic Zen Residences a completion date of 15 June 2027. Property Finder shows the same date, with delivery in Q2 2027, and fäm Properties also gives 15 June 2027. The date has been the same since bookings opened on 15 June 2025, so the schedule allows two years from launch to completion.

Construction has barely begun on the register’s figures. The last DLD inspection, on 17 April 2026, recorded the building 2.12% complete, about 2 percentage points more than at the previous inspection on 10 December 2025. No later inspection had been published when the register was updated on 4 October 2026.

Symbolic Zen Residences construction update

The register records construction starting on 15 June 2025, and Property Finder gives 16 June 2025. The project is DLD project number 3755, with buyer payments going to an escrow account at the National Bank of Fujairah. The register lists the developer under the legal name Moizziyah Developers, and the project under the name Symbolic Zen Residences.

The building has a basement, a ground floor with retail and shared spaces, two podium levels, 16 residential floors and a rooftop leisure deck (Property Finder). Symbolic says the first home sits about 50 feet above the street, on a corner plot along Al Asayel Street with roads on three sides (launch release, 27 May 2025).

Symbolic Zen Residences homes and sizes

At launch Symbolic described 82 homes, made up of 2.5 bedroom apartments and 3.5 bedroom garden residences, sold fully furnished with 12 foot ceilings. The DLD register counts 92 units, including 10 smaller units of 419 to 728 sq ft. The register does not describe them, and the launch release mentions retail showrooms on the ground floor.

Symbolic Zen Residences prices and resale

Symbolic gave the project a total value of AED 210 million at launch. Property Finder lists a launch price of AED 2 million, and fäm Properties lists prices from AED 2.1 million.

The DLD has recorded 35 sales, 6% of them resales (Continental Club, transactions updated 3 October 2026). The 32 sales of 2 bedroom homes had a median of AED 2.01 million for about 1,410 sq ft, or about AED 1,425 per sq ft. Two sales on 21 September 2026 registered at AED 2.01 million and AED 2.12 million. Prices have moved little through 2026: 2 bedroom sales in January were between AED 1.88 million and AED 2.00 million.

Symbolic Zen Residences payment plan

The plan is 20% down payment, 30% during construction and 50% on handover (Property Finder; Continental Club). The 4% DLD fee is extra. Half the price falls due at completion, so the 15 June 2027 date, or any later date, decides when buyers need that payment from savings or a mortgage.

Symbolic Zen Residences developer and delivery record

Symbolic Developments is the property division of the Speedex Group, a Dubai business group. Zen Residences is its third Dubai project and its second in Al Furjan, after Symbolic Aura. Its first, Symbolic Alpha in Liwan, was handed over in 14 months, according to the company (launch release, 27 May 2025; TradeArabia, 25 December 2025). The company has not published a construction update for Zen Residences, and its record covers only one completed building so far.

What to check before buying at Symbolic Zen Residences

1. The completion date and grace period in the SPA. The building was 2.12% complete 14 months before the registered date of 15 June 2027.
2. Whether the unit is sold furnished, as the launch release described, and what the furniture package includes.
3. Funds for the 50% handover payment, and how a later handover would change its timing.
4. The next DLD inspection figure, which will show whether work on the structure has started in earnest.
