When will DAMAC Lagoons Venice be handed over?
Venice is a canal-themed cluster of DAMAC Lagoons, the community opposite DAMAC Hills in Dubailand. DAMAC launched it with the Malta cluster in May 2022 (The National, 25 May 2022). Construction started in December 2022 (Propsearch). In 2023 DAMAC awarded Darwish Engineering Emirates an AED 1.2 billion main works contract for Venice villas (MEED, 10 December 2023).
The Dubai Land Department (DLD) registers the cluster as Venice (1), with 424 homes:

The registered date has passed and DAMAC has not published a new one. At the pace of the last inspection interval, the remaining 25.57 points would take roughly another year of work, which is in line with the 2027 estimates on the portals. The date in your SPA and its grace period are the ones that apply to your unit.

Venice is the only DAMAC Lagoons cluster with no townhouses. Propsearch lists six villa designs, all standalone:

There is no rental market yet, since no villas are recorded as handed over. Property Finder showed no rental listings in Venice on 29 September 2026.
DAMAC Lagoons Venice payment plan
Bayut’s area guide shows the launch plan as 20% on booking, 60% during construction and 20% on completion. Property Finder records a later release with 10% on booking, 40% during construction and 50% at handover. On either plan, a large share of the price falls due at handover, so the timing of that payment moves with the handover date.
