Westwood by Imtiaz was handed over in November 2023. The Dubai Land Department register gives the building a registered completion date of 27 November 2023 and recorded it 100% complete at a site inspection on the same day. Imtiaz Developments’ project page says handover was completed in Q4 2023. Resale prices and rents are on the Westwood by Imtiaz page.
It is now a resale and rental building. Of 303 sales on the DLD register, 208 were bought off-plan from Imtiaz and 95 were resales of finished homes, with the switch to resales coming in 2024. The latest recorded sale was a 423 sq ft studio at AED 790,000 on 24 September 2026 (McCone Properties, DLD data to 2 Oct 2026).

The register lists 188 homes, the same count Propsearch gives. Data Habibi gives 198. Westwood is a different building from Westwood Grande and Westwood Grande II, separate Imtiaz projects in JVC. Westwood Grande was handed over in October 2024, almost a year after Westwood.

Westwood was sold with a post-handover plan, so handover did not end every buyer’s payments. Data Habibi records the launch plan as 10% deposit, 30% during construction, 15% on handover and 45% after handover, spread over three years. For an original buyer on that plan, the handover payment fell due in November 2023 and the last post-handover instalments run to about November 2026. Imtiaz’s own page does not publish the schedule and says payment terms now depend on the unit and agreement.
What to check when buying a resale unit at Westwood by Imtiaz
- Whether post-handover instalments are still owed to Imtiaz. A seller who bought on the launch plan may still be paying the final part of the 45%, which has to be cleared or transferred at sale.
- The building name on the title deed. It should read Westwood by Imtiaz in Al Furjan, project 2431, not Westwood Grande in JVC.
- The price history behind a listing. DLD records for Westwood include very low gift and transfer entries alongside true sales, so recent studio sales between AED 670,000 and AED 820,000 are the useful comparison.
- The service charge record since November 2023, since the building has run for nearly three years.
