When is the Verdana handover date?

Reportage's Verdana phases 3 to 10 are registered with the Dubai Land Department (DLD) to complete on 30 September 2028 (Verdana 3, 4, 5), 31 December 2028 (Verdana 6, 7, 8) and 31 March 2029 (Verdana 9, 10). The most advanced, Verdana 6, was 0.14% complete at its DLD inspection on 22 July 2026. Earlier Verdana phases passed their registered dates before completion, so the dates above are not guaranteed.

Verdana handover date: the latest position
The newer Verdana phases by Reportage Properties in Dubai Investments Park are registered to complete between 30 September 2028 and 31 March 2029. The Dubai Land Department (DLD) register files them as Verdana 3 to Verdana 10, each with its own date. Full project details are on the Verdana page.
Work has barely begun. The highest recorded figure is 0.14% at Verdana 6 on 22 July 2026, and three phases were still at 0% at their last inspection. Earlier Verdana phases passed their registered dates, which is the main reason to treat the 2028 and 2029 dates with caution.

The register also holds separate “Verdana Residence” registrations. Verdana Residence 9 and 10 share the 31 March 2029 date of Verdana 9 and 10 (Continental Club). Portal phase names such as “Verdana III” may refer to these apartment registrations, which explains some of the gaps in the last column.

The first phase climbed from 43.25% in March 2025 to 68.11% in October 2025 and 96.14% in June 2026 (dxbpropy). It was still short of 100% more than five months after its registered date, a useful guide to how Verdana dates have behaved.
What the Verdana handover date means for payments
Most Verdana plans put a large share on handover. A common Verdana III plan is 10% on booking, 1% a month during construction (43%) and 47% on handover (JRE). Verdana V options run from 70% on handover with 20% down to 35% on handover with 30% down (OffPlanIndex). Monthly instalments run until handover, so a later completion date means more months of payments before the final balance falls due.
What to check before relying on the Verdana date
- The DLD project number on the Oqood, to confirm whether the unit is in a “Verdana” or a “Verdana Residence” registration.
- The completion date and grace period in the SPA, since the first phase and Verdana Residence 2 both ran past their registered dates.
- Whether monthly instalments stop at the registered date or continue until actual handover.
- Inspections through 2027. A phase due in September 2028 needs steady progress from late 2026 to meet its date.
