When is The Wilds handover date?

The Wilds villas are registered with the Dubai Land Department (DLD) to complete on 31 January 2029 (The Wilds 1), 28 February 2029 (The Wilds 2) and 31 May 2029 (The Wilds 3); Aldar gave 2029 at launch and broker pages show Q2 2029. At the DLD inspection on 14 September 2026 the three phases were 7.48%, 5.74% and 3.1% complete. The date for any one villa depends on which of the three registrations it belongs to.

The Wilds handover date: the latest position
The Wilds villas have three registered completion dates in the Dubai Land Department (DLD) register: 31 January 2029 for The Wilds 1, 28 February 2029 for The Wilds 2 and 31 May 2029 for The Wilds 3. Aldar gave 2029 when it launched the community in February 2025. Full project details are on The Wilds page.
Construction is at an early stage. The DLD inspection on 14 September 2026 found the three phases between 3.1% and 7.48% complete, with between 28 and 32 months left to their registered dates.
The Wilds handover date by phase
The register files the villas under Aurora SPV 2, the Aldar and Dubai Holding joint venture company, as three projects in Majan (Wadi Al Safa 3).

Progress between the June and September 2026 inspections was 3.66 points at The Wilds 1, 3.02 points at The Wilds 2 and 0.69 points at The Wilds 3 (Continental Club). The apartment phase, The Wilds Residences, is a separate registration with a completion date of 30 June 2030.

No change to the 2029 target has been published since launch. Broker pages give Q2 2029 for the whole community, which is later than the registered dates for The Wilds 1 and 2.
What The Wilds handover date means for payments
The villas were sold on a 65/35 plan: 10% on booking, 55% during construction and 35% on handover (Property Finder; The Wilds Dubai FAQ). GRAF’s schedule for first phase villas places the construction instalments on fixed dates, with the last one in June 2028. That means 65% is paid before handover whether or not building work keeps pace. On a villa bought at the AED 5.1 million launch price, the handover payment is about AED 1.79 million, due when the phase is completed.
What to check before relying on The Wilds date
- The registration number on the SPA or Oqood. Project 3600, 3606 or 3607 decides which of the three dates applies.
- The grace period in the SPA, since the registered dates fall between January and May 2029 while marketing material says Q2 2029.
- The pace at The Wilds 3. It added 0.69 points between June and September 2026, the slowest of the three.
- The DLD project status enquiry for the latest inspection before paying the next dated instalment.

Is The Wilds Residences handed over at the same time as the villas?
No. The Wilds Residences apartments have a separate registered completion date of 30 June 2030, more than a year after the villa phases.
