Terra Tower handover date: the latest position

Dugasta’s published handover for Terra Tower is now Q2 2028, a year after the 30 April 2027 completion date held on the DLD register. At the latest DLD inspection, on 8 July 2026, the tower was 7.43% complete. Prices and plans are on the Terra Tower page.

The registered date cannot be met: about 92.6 points of work remained with less than ten months to go. Q2 2028 leaves about two years, which would need several times the pace recorded since October 2025.

Tanami Properties also carried a June 2027 date at one stage. Portal pages copy different versions, so dates from Q2 2026 to Q2 2028 can all still be found online.

What the Terra Tower handover date means for payments

How much a delay matters depends on the plan. On the 50/50 plan, 50% is due on handover, so a later handover pushes back the largest payment. On the 3 and 5 year plans, only 1% is due on handover and 49% follows over 36 or 60 months, so those instalments start later too. On the 10 year plan, 60% is paid over 10 years after handover (EZRE). The 40% to 50% paid before handover goes into the project’s escrow account with Mashreq Bank.

What to check before relying on the Terra Tower date

1. The handover date written in the SPA, since contracts signed at different times may carry Q2 2026, April 2027 or a later date.
2. The grace period the SPA allows after that date.
3. A DLD inspection newer than 8 July 2026, through DLD’s project status enquiry for project 3278.
