Taormina Village, Reportage’s community of about 838 townhouses and villas in Wadi Al Safa 3, Dubailand, hands over in two phases. Phase 1 has a registered completion date of 20 December 2027 at the Dubai Land Department (DLD), and Reportage markets Q4 2027. Full project details are on the Taormina Village page.
The DLD inspection on 3 June 2026 recorded phase 1 at 20.4% complete (DLD project register via Continental Club, inspection 3 June 2026). Phase 2 is a separate project with a registered completion date of 6 July 2029. It was at 0% when DLD last inspected it, on 5 November 2025.

The phase 1 date has not moved since launch. The register allows three years from the recorded start to completion. At 20.4% after about 18 months, the larger share of the work falls in the last 18 months. Phase 2 was filed later, with a three year programme of its own.
What the Taormina Village handover date means for payments
The handover payment is large. The launch plan put 70% of the price on handover (Property Finder). The plans Reportage publishes in 2026 leave between 58% and 70% for completion, with no instalments after handover (ezre; Takween Aldar). Some phase 2 payment schedules give “Q2 2028” as the handover milestone, earlier than the 6 July 2029 date on the register. If completion moves, the handover payment moves with it.
What to check before relying on the Taormina Village date
- The phase named in the SPA. Phase 1 and phase 2 have registered dates about 18 months apart.
- The handover milestone in the payment schedule. Some phase 2 plans name Q2 2028, while DLD holds 6 July 2029.
- The grace period. With 20.4% recorded in June 2026, the SPA’s grace period after 20 December 2027 matters.
- The registered developer. Phase 2 is filed by M H L Real Estate Development, a branch of Millennium Holding, not by Reportage Prime Properties.
