When is the Sobha SeaHaven handover date?
Short answer
Sobha SeaHaven has two registered completion dates on the DLD register: 30 April 2028 for Tower A and 31 October 2028 for Towers B and C. At the latest DLD inspections, Towers B and C were 40.2% complete on 18 September 2026 and Tower A 37% complete on 6 August 2026. Earlier dates still circulate, including August 2027 on a Sobha listing and Q4 2026 to Q3 2027 from launch-era marketing, so the date in each tower's SPA is the one to rely on.

Sobha SeaHaven handover date: the latest position
Sobha SeaHaven does not have one handover date. The Dubai Land Department (DLD) registers it as two projects: Tower A, with a registered completion date of 30 April 2028, and Towers B and C together, with 31 October 2028. At the latest DLD inspections, Towers B and C were 40.2% complete on 18 September 2026 and Tower A was 37% complete on 6 August 2026. Earlier dates are still published elsewhere. A listing card on Sobha’s own website showed August 2027 in September 2026, and Bayut shows Q3 2027 (Fahad Al Kuwari, 17 September 2026). Sobha’s SeaHaven project pages give no date.

Against the late 2026 date buyers heard at launch, Tower A’s registered date is about 16 months later and Towers B and C about 22 months later. Towers B and C gained 7.97 points between June and September 2026, and Tower A 6.08 points between April and August 2026.
What the Sobha SeaHaven handover date means for payments
Sources disagree on the plan. Property Finder lists two structures, 20% at launch, 40% during construction and 40% at handover, and 20/20/60 with 60% at handover. Real Estate Club Dubai cites 20/60/20 (17 June 2026). On any of these, 20% to 60% of the price falls due at handover, and that payment moves with the handover date of the buyer’s tower. On a 1 bedroom bought at the AED 3.3 million launch price on the 20/40/40 plan, AED 1.32 million is due at handover. Many SeaHaven units are priced above AED 5 million, where mortgage loan-to-value limits are lower (Real Estate Club Dubai).
What to check before relying on the Sobha SeaHaven date
- Which tower your unit is in. Tower A and Towers B and C have registered dates six months apart, and portals often show only the Tower A date.
- The anticipated completion date in your SPA, which may be an earlier launch-era date, and the grace period that applies to it.
- For resales, the balance still owed to Sobha, since 40% or 60% at handover may still be outstanding.
- The next DLD inspection for your tower, especially for Tower C, which has no separate progress figure.
