Sobha gives each Sobha Central tower its own handover date: December 2029 for The Horizon, The Serene and The Tranquil, and December 2030 for The Mirage and The Pinnacle. The Eden has no date on Sobha’s page and is listed for December 2029 on the Sobha Central sales site. More on the development: Sobha Central.
On the DLD register, Sobha Central is three projects that do not use the tower names. Phase I and Phase II are registered for completion on 30 June 2030, and project 4328 on 31 December 2031. The last DLD inspection of Phase I and Phase II, on 29 September 2026, recorded 7.08% and 6.42%. Project 4328 was at 0% in January 2026.

Sobha has not published which towers sit in which registered project. Phase I is filed as two buildings described as ground plus 75 floors, and Phase II as two buildings of ground plus 60 and ground plus 65 floors.

The Horizon’s December 2029 date has held since launch. Each later tower has been given a later date, rather than any tower being moved back.
What the Sobha Central handover date means for payments
Sobha’s standard plan for Sobha Central is 60/40: 20% at booking, 40% during construction and 40% on handover (Property Finder for The Horizon; Sobha Realty). On The Horizon’s launch price of AED 1.7 million for a 1 bedroom, the handover payment is AED 680,000. Augusta Properties reported a 20/80 offer on Sobha Central, 20% at booking and 80% on completion, valid until 27 September 2026, which puts most of the price on the handover date.
What to check before relying on the Sobha Central date
- Which registered project the unit is filed under. The SPA or Oqood shows the DLD project number: 3713 and 4042 carry 30 June 2030, and 4328 carries 31 December 2031.
- Whether the tower date and the registered date match. Sobha’s December 2029 towers are six months ahead of the 30 June 2030 registered dates for Phase I and Phase II.
- How much is due at completion. A unit bought on the 20/80 offer owes 80% at handover, against 40% on the standard plan.
- The next DLD inspection. The latest figures for Phase I and Phase II date from 29 September 2026 and for project 4328 from January 2026, and DLD’s project status enquiry shows new ones by project number.
