Progress rose 2.9 points in the four months to May 2026. Some broker pages still show December 2026 (Palmera) or 29 June 2027, so listings carry at least four different dates.
What the Samana Barari Views handover date means for payments
Samana’s plan is tied to months from booking, not to construction stages. Non-PDC buyers pay 20% down, 1% a month for 35 months, 10%, 5% and 5% at months 6, 12 and 18, then 0.5% a month for 50 months, about 8 years in all (Samana Developers). Property Finder lists this as 20/54/1/25, with 25% after handover.
With handover moved to Q2 2028, a buyer who booked in early 2024 will have paid the full 1% stage and around 14 to 18 of the 0.5% instalments by handover, so about 16% to 18% would remain after it. On the median studio price of AED 733,752, each 0.5% instalment is about AED 3,670.
