Iconic Tower is registered for completion on 28 February 2028 under DLD project 2865. Mered’s website still gives Q3 2027, about six months earlier. Prices, sizes and the payment plan are on the Iconic Tower by Mered page.

What the Iconic Tower handover date means for payments
Iconic Tower sells on a 50/50 plan: 5% on booking, 45% during construction and 50% on handover (Continental Club; Dubainary). Mered’s 2024 plan put 20% on the SPA date after the booking deposit. Because half the price is due at completion, a later handover also pushes back the largest payment. On a 1 bedroom at the AED 3.48 million DLD median, about AED 1.74 million falls due on handover.

- Which date the SPA states, Q3 2027, Q4 2027 or 28 February 2028, and the grace period after it.

- Funding for the 50% handover payment, since banks lend against the completed unit and the timing depends on the real completion date.
- Construction instalments on a resale. Buyers of an Iconic Tower unit before handover inherit the remaining construction payments and the full handover balance.
