Ellington House is finished and handed over. The Dubai Land Department recorded the building 100% complete at a site inspection on 29 July 2025, and Ellington Properties announced on 29 September 2025 that it was progressing with the handover of its first Dubai Hills Estate building. Sources differ on the exact handover date. Ellington’s own September 2025 release describes the handover as already under way, while fäm Properties gives 12 March 2026. Propsearch had not updated its page by July 2026 and still shows the building as under development, with an estimated handover of February 2025.

What the Ellington House handover date meant for payments
Half the price was tied to completion. Ellington’s plan was 20% on booking, staged 5% instalments tied to construction milestones up to 50% built, and 50% on completion (Ellington Properties project site). Continental Club summarises it as 20% down, 30% during construction and 50% on handover. Buyers on that plan paid the final 50% when their unit was handed over in the second half of 2025. No post-handover plan was offered.
