When is the DAMAC Hills 2 handover date?

Violet 2 was 57.63% built at its DLD inspection of 22 September 2026, while Elo 2 and Elo 3 were 6.36% built on 15 April 2026 against 30 June 2027. DAMAC Hills 2 handover date: the latest position
DAMAC Hills 2, formerly Akoya Oxygen, is mostly handed over. The clusters still on the Dubai Land Department register as under construction have registered completion dates from 27 February 2027 for Violet 2 to 30 August 2027 for Violet 4, and Violet’s own date of January 2026 has passed. The clusters are at very different stages. Violet was 95.19% built at the DLD inspection of 30 September 2026, the newest inspection in the community, and Violet 2 was 57.63% built on 22 September 2026, while Elo 2 and Elo 3 were 6.36% built on 15 April 2026 against a June 2027 date. Older clusters such as Claret, handed over from July 2019, and more than 20 other named clusters are complete.

Progress and dates are from the DLD register as republished by Continental Club and fäm, except where another source is named. The register lists the Violet phases as “Damac Hills (2) - Violet”, “Damac Hills (2) - Violet 2”, “Damac Hills (2) - Violet 3” and “Damac Hills (2) - Violet 4”, each a separate project with its own completion date. Continental Club’s 2027 handover list, updated 10 October 2026, still shows May 2026 as the latest inspection for Violet 3 and Violet 4, so no newer DLD figure exists for those two phases.

To meet 27 February 2027, Violet 2 would need to add the remaining 42.37% in about five months; it added 12.55 points in the five months before its September inspection.
What the DAMAC Hills 2 handover date means for payments
The share due at handover runs from 20% to 40% depending on the cluster. Property Finder lists Elo 3 at 20/60/20, Elo 2 and Verona at 20/50/30 and Violet 4 at 20/40/40. Violet launched on 20% at booking, 40% during construction and 40% by completion (InvestInDXB, June 2024), so 40% of the price for many Violet buyers depends on a completion date that has already passed.
What to check before relying on the DAMAC Hills 2 date
- Which Violet your unit is in. Violet, Violet 2, Violet 3 and Violet 4 are separate DLD projects with registered dates from January 2026 to 30 August 2027.
- Verona’s actual status. Registry data republished in July 2026 shows Verona complete, but Propsearch still lists it as under development. Ask DAMAC whether the completion notice has been issued, since 30% is due on completion.
- Elo 3’s date in your SPA. Elo 2 and Elo 3 share one registered date of 30 June 2027, while Property Finder lists Elo 3 two months later.
- How old the progress figure is. Elo, Elo 2 and Elo 3 were last inspected on 15 April 2026, and Violet 3, Violet 4 and Park Greens 1 in May 2026.

When will DAMAC Hills 2 be ready?
Most of it already is. Older clusters such as Claret have been handed over since July 2019. The clusters still under construction have registered completion dates between 27 February 2027 (Violet 2) and 30 August 2027 (Violet 4), and Violet's January 2026 date has passed (DLD register via Continental Club and fäm).
What is the Violet DAMAC Hills 2 handover date?
The DLD register gave Violet a completion date of January 2026, and Property Finder listed June 2026. Both have passed. The DLD inspection of 30 September 2026 put the 526 villa cluster at 95.19% complete, up from 87.66% on 14 July 2026 (Continental Club; fäm).
Has Verona at DAMAC Hills 2 been handed over?
Sources disagree. Verona's registered completion date was June 2026, and a broker listing drawing on registry data, updated 29 July 2026, records it as 100% complete with construction ended on 30 June 2026 (Takween Aldar). Propsearch, updated 16 August 2026, still describes Verona as under development.
When will Elo 2 and Elo 3 be handed over?
The DLD register holds one completion date, 30 June 2027, for both towers under project number 3122. They were 6.36% complete on 15 April 2026. Property Finder lists Elo 3 later, for 31 August 2027.
Has the DAMAC Hills 2 handover date been delayed?
For Violet, yes against its registered date of January 2026. For the other clusters, no registered date has passed yet. DAMAC said in July 2026 that more than 1,500 villas in DAMAC Hills 2 would hand over during 2026 (Zawya, 9 Jul 2026).
