City Walk Crestlane's first phases, Crestlane 2 and Crestlane 3, have a registered completion date of 10 December 2028, while Meraas targets Q3 2028 for its first four buildings. City Walk Crestlane handover date: the latest position
The first homes at City Walk Crestlane are registered for completion on 10 December 2028. That date applies to Crestlane 2 and Crestlane 3, the two phases Meraas launched on 6 February 2025. In September 2026 Meraas gave a slightly earlier target of Q3 2028 for 394 apartments across four buildings, the same number of homes it announced for those two phases. The later phases run into 2029 and 2030. The two towers launched in June 2025, which the DLD register lists simply as City Walk Crestlane, are registered for 30 September 2029. Crestlane 4 and Crestlane 5 are registered for 25 April 2030. Construction is early everywhere: the most advanced phase, Crestlane 2, was 6.83% complete at its DLD inspection on 8 October 2026.

Progress and registered dates are from the DLD project register via Continental Club, updated 7 October 2026, and 11 October 2026 for Crestlane 2. Each phase has two buildings. The June 2025 phase appears in DLD sales records as City Walk Crestlane 1 Building A and Building B.
Crestlane 3 showed the clearest movement in 2026. It stood at 0.04% in November 2025 and March 2026, then reached 4.59% at the 15 September 2026 inspection. Crestlane 2 rose from 5.20% on 12 June 2026 to 6.83% on 8 October 2026. The June 2025 phase recorded 0% at three inspections between June 2025 and April 2026 before reaching 0.19% in August 2026.

So far the dates have moved earlier rather than later. The April 2029 date given at launch for Crestlane 2 and 3 compares with a registered 10 December 2028 and a Meraas target of Q3 2028.
What the City Walk Crestlane handover date means for payments
Crestlane was sold on a 75/25 plan: 20% on booking, 55% in instalments during construction and 25% on handover (Dubai.News, 7 February 2025; Continental Club). On a 1 bedroom at the launch price of AED 2.62 million, the handover payment is about AED 655,000. It falls due when the buyer’s own phase is completed, so a Crestlane 4 or 5 buyer would expect to pay it about 16 months after a Crestlane 2 or 3 buyer. There is no post-handover instalment plan.
What to check before relying on the City Walk Crestlane date
- The phase name on the SPA. City Walk Crestlane, Crestlane 1, Crestlane 2 and the rest have different registered dates, and the June 2025 phase uses two names.
- Whether the unit is in one of the four buildings under the Q3 2028 contract. Meraas did not name the buildings in its 7 September 2026 announcement.
- The completion date and grace period in the SPA, since portal dates for the same phase differ by up to a year.
- The next DLD inspection figure for the phase, through the DLD project status service.

The DLD register gives 10 December 2028 for Crestlane 2 and 3, 30 September 2029 for the phase registered as City Walk Crestlane, and 25 April 2030 for Crestlane 4 and 5. Meraas said on 7 September 2026 that its main contract for 394 apartments in four buildings is due for completion by Q3 2028.
What is the City Walk Crestlane completion date for Crestlane 4 and 5?
Both are registered for completion on 25 April 2030. Each was 0.01% complete at a DLD inspection on 12 June 2026. Meraas launched them on 3 December 2025 with 201 and 159 homes.
Has the City Walk Crestlane handover date been delayed?
Not on the DLD register so far. The launch coverage in February 2025 gave April 2029 for Crestlane 2 and 3, and the registered date of 10 December 2028 is earlier than that. Construction is at an early stage, with no phase above 6.83% at its latest inspection.
