DAMAC gives Q2 2027 as the handover date for Cavalli Tower, on its project page checked on 1 October 2026. The Dubai Land Department (DLD) site inspection of 15 July 2026 recorded the tower 85.08% complete, while the registered completion date on the DLD register is still 30 September 2025. The tower topped out at 71 storeys in November 2025, when DAMAC said it was on track for handover by the end of 2026. Its current Q2 2027 date is later than that. DAMAC’s own progress figure, 74% overall on 17 July 2026, is lower than the DLD’s 85.08% from two days earlier, and the two figures come from different inspections.

Property Finder’s project page and Propsearch still carry 2025 dates, which match the registered completion date rather than DAMAC’s current one.
What the Cavalli Tower handover date means for payments
At the September 2021 launch, Property Finder recorded a plan of 20% at booking, 70% during construction and 10% at handover. Under that plan, 90% falls due before the tower is finished, and the handover payment is the last 10%. DAMAC’s own stock is reported sold out, and DLD has recorded 619 sales in the building, only 4 of them resales (Continental Club, Sep 2026), so most units are still held by their first buyers. Anyone buying from an owner now takes on whatever share of the plan the seller has not yet paid.
What to check before relying on the Cavalli Tower date
- The completion date and grace period in your SPA. Many SPAs will carry the registered date of 30 September 2025, so the contract terms, not DAMAC’s Q2 2027 date, set any delay rights.
- Which progress figure is newer. DAMAC’s 74% and the DLD’s 85.08% were two days apart in July 2026. DLD’s project status enquiry service for project 2283 shows the official figure.
- On a resale, how much of the 20/70/10 plan the seller has paid, and whether DAMAC has agreed to transfer the remaining handover payment.
- The name on the register. The DLD lists the tower as Cavalli Casa Tower, project 2283, so a search for Cavalli Tower on DLD services may not find it.
