Barari Gate handover date: the latest position
The Dubai Land Department (DLD) project register holds a registered completion date of 31 December 2028 for Barari Gate by ADE, project number 4221, in Majan. The register does not yet show real progress. Its only published inspection, on 24 November 2025, recorded 0%, seven weeks before the registered construction start of 13 January 2026. Sales have moved faster than the register: Continental Club counts 146 registered deals to 4 October 2026, none of them resales, so most buyers hold units bought directly from ADE at launch prices.

The date has not changed since launch. ADE’s track record offers limited guidance on how it will hold. fäm lists Deansgate in Majan as ready with a Q1 2026 handover and Greygate Residences in Jumeirah Village Circle as due in Q1 2028.

The two published plans place very different sums on the handover date. On Property Finder’s 10/40/50 plan, 50% is due on handover. On the six year plan described at launch, 20% is paid up front and 40% is spread over three years after handover (Gulf News, 27 January 2026). For a studio at the registered sales median of AED 725,000 (Continental Club, to 4 October 2026), a 50% handover payment is about AED 362,500.
