Sobha named all six towers by November 2024, when it also announced The Mirage's launch. Only The Horizon has a published handover date so far. A construction progress tracker covering Sobha's other Dubai projects did not yet include Sobha Central in the first quarter of 2026, which points to an early stage of construction at that point.

## What is the Sobha Central payment plan?

Property portals list a plan of around 10% at booking, 50% in instalments during construction and 40% at handover. Applying that to The Horizon's launch price of AED 1.7 million for a 1 bedroom unit: 10% at booking is AED 170,000, plus the 4% Dubai Land Department fee of AED 68,000, for AED 238,000 due at booking. The 50% construction share is AED 850,000, and the 40% due at handover is AED 680,000. This is an example only. Confirm the exact plan for your tower and unit before booking, since Sobha has not published one plan covering all six towers.

## How many homes have sold?

Sobha reported AED 3.5 billion of sales and more than 1,500 units sold across Sobha Central's towers, in a press release dated 10 November 2024. Sobha has not published an updated combined sales figure for the development since.

## What to check before booking

1. **The handover date for your specific tower**, since only The Horizon has one published.
2. **The payment plan for your unit**, directly from Sobha, rather than a portal estimate.
3. **The DLD project status** for your building, through the Dubai Land Department's project status enquiry service.
4. **Whether your tower has started construction**, given Sobha Central had not appeared in third party construction tracking as of the first quarter of 2026.
