## When was Skyz by Danube handed over?

Danube's own construction tracker lists Skyz as 100% complete. Its dated inspection, from 31 October 2025, records the Building Completion Certificate obtained, testing and commissioning completed, and DEWA water and power connected. Danube's portfolio page now lists Skyz under its completed projects, alongside a note that customer viewings were underway. Property Finder had earlier estimated a Q4 2024 handover at launch, so the project handed over later than that original target.

## What was the Skyz by Danube payment plan?

At launch in October 2021, Danube sold Skyz under its standard 1% monthly plan: about 10% at booking, then monthly instalments of 1% of the price during construction, with a further amount due on and after handover. Danube's public plan description does not break out exactly how the final balance and the 4% Dubai Land Department fee were billed. Since the project is now complete and sold out, this plan is no longer available to new buyers.

## What did homes at Skyz by Danube cost?

Prices started from AED 399,000 for a studio apartment at launch in October 2021. Home types were studio, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartments, from about 349 to 995 sq ft. Propsearch recorded recent 1 bedroom resale transactions between AED 632,000 and AED 815,000, well above the original studio launch price.

## Who is the developer and what is its handover record?

Danube Properties says it has completed 16 projects to date, with more delivered since, and has publicised several early handovers elsewhere in its portfolio, including Pearlz and Opalz. No delay specific to Skyz has been reported by major UAE news outlets.

## What to check before buying a resale unit

1. **The title deed and ownership transfer process**, since Skyz is complete and any purchase now is a resale rather than an off-plan booking.
2. **Service charges and building management**, which apply once a building is handed over and occupied.
3. **The specific unit's condition and floor**, through a physical viewing, since the building wide completion status does not describe any one apartment.
