## When will Sportz by Danube be handed over?

Property Finder's project page lists 30 March 2026 as the target handover date. That date has passed, and no handover has been reported. Danube's own construction update, dated 31 August 2026, puts the project at 90% complete, with the roof slab finished on both towers and the project approaching its Dubai Civil Defence inspection stage, but it does not give a revised handover date.

Danube named Sportz among 11 projects it said were due for handover within 12 months of its July 2026 announcement, which points to a window running to around July 2027.

## What is the Sportz by Danube payment plan?

Property Finder lists a plan of 10% at booking, monthly instalments of 1% of the price during construction up to a total of 54%, 1% at handover, and the remaining 35% paid after handover.

The example below uses the launch price of AED 667,000, plus the 4% Dubai Land Department registration fee, paid separately at booking.

## What to check before booking

1. **A revised handover date directly with Danube**, since the published 30 March 2026 date has passed and no new date has been confirmed publicly.
2. **The DLD project status** for the building, through the Dubai Land Department's project status enquiry service.
3. **How the 4% DLD fee is billed** alongside the 1% monthly instalments, since Danube's public materials do not set this out.
4. **The post-handover balance**, since 35% of the price falls due after handover under this plan, on top of the 1% paid at handover itself.
