## When will DAMAC Lagoons be handed over?

DAMAC Lagoons is handed over cluster by cluster, not on one date. DAMAC's own figures are the 513 homes it handed over in 2025 and the about 6,300 more it targets for 2026, with overall community infrastructure over 80% complete. Handovers began at the Santorini cluster in November 2025.

For other clusters, DAMAC has not published a full schedule. The figures below come from property portals and area guides, and they do not all agree.

The Dubai Land Department's project register lists DAMAC Lagoons overall as under construction, since the community is built out in phases. The date in your sale and purchase agreement (SPA) for your specific cluster and building is the one that applies to you.

## What is the DAMAC Lagoons payment plan?

DAMAC does not publish one payment plan for the whole community. Listings for individual clusters and releases show several structures, including 80% paid during construction with 20% due at handover, 60% during construction with 40% at handover, and 50/50 splits, plus post-handover options on some releases (Property Finder, accessed 28 Sep 2026).

2. **Whether your cluster is one DAMAC has confirmed**, such as Santorini, or one only reported by portals.

4. **The DLD project status** for your building, through DLD's project status enquiry service.
5. **How the payment plan lines up with the handover date**, since a final instalment is usually due at handover.
