## When will DAMAC Islands 2 be handed over?

DAMAC's guide to the Antigua cluster, one of eight island themed clusters in the community, states a handover date of June 2030. Propsearch separately lists an estimated Q2 2030 for the project as a whole. DAMAC has not published a cluster by cluster or building by building schedule, so both figures apply to the community in general rather than to a specific unit.

## What is the DAMAC Islands 2 payment plan?

DAMAC's Antigua cluster guide lists a 20% deposit at booking, 55% in instalments during construction and 25% on handover. Note that earlier DAMAC promotional material for the same cluster described a different split, 75% during construction and 25% on handover, without a separate booking figure. Ask for the current schedule in writing before booking, since DAMAC has described more than one structure for the same cluster.

As an example only, on a townhouse listed from AED 2.99 million, the 20% deposit is about AED 598,000. The 4% Dubai Land Department registration fee, paid separately at the time of registration, would add about AED 119,600 on that price. These figures are illustrative for one entry level unit and do not reflect every plot size or cluster.

## What do homes at DAMAC Islands 2 cost?

Prices started from AED 2.7 million at launch on 13 November 2025, across townhouses, twin villas and villas. DAMAC's Antigua cluster guide separately lists townhouses there from AED 2.99 million. Propsearch recorded 50 sale transactions as of late September 2026, ranging from AED 2.87 million to AED 5.47 million, which are resale or secondary listing prices rather than DAMAC's own launch prices.

## How many homes have sold?

DAMAC said the DAMAC Islands 2 launch passed more than USD 3 billion (over AED 11 billion) in sales within 5 hours, in a statement describing it as beating the internal benchmark set by the original DAMAC Islands. That earlier project, launched in December 2024, holds a Guinness World Record for AED 10.23 billion (USD 2.78 billion) sold within 24 hours. DAMAC has not published a total number of homes sold at DAMAC Islands 2, only the sales value.

## Who is the developer and what is its handover record?

DAMAC Properties is a Dubai listed developer. DAMAC Islands 2 is its seventh master community, launched adjoining the original DAMAC Islands in Dubailand. DAMAC reported handing over 50,000 homes in total and more than 8,800 planned for 2026 across its wider portfolio, according to a September 2026 company statement.

1. **The exact cluster and building**, since DAMAC Islands 2 covers eight themed clusters with different unit types and prices.
2. **The payment plan in writing**, given DAMAC's own material has described more than one split for the same cluster.
3. **The completion date in your sale and purchase agreement**, rather than the general June 2030 or Q2 2030 figures quoted for the wider community.
4. **How the 4% Dubai Land Department registration fee is billed** alongside your instalments.
