## When will Creek Waters and Creek Waters 2 be handed over?

Creek Waters and Creek Waters 2 are separate Emaar towers on Creek Island, in Dubai Creek Harbour, launched a few months apart in 2023.

The two towers are close in progress but not identical, and Creek Waters 2 is listed about three months later for handover. The date in your sale and purchase agreement is the one that applies to your unit.

## What is the payment plan?

Both towers use the same 10/80/10 structure: 10% at booking, 80% in instalments during construction and 10% on handover.

As a worked example only, for a 1 bedroom unit at Creek Waters 2's AED 1.9 million launch starting price, plus the 4% DLD registration fee of AED 76,000: the 10% due at booking is AED 190,000, bringing the amount due at booking to AED 266,000 once the fee is included. The 80% construction share is AED 1,520,000, and the remaining 10%, AED 190,000, is due at handover.

## What to check before booking

1. **Which of the two towers your unit is in**, since Creek Waters and Creek Waters 2 have different handover dates despite the similar name.
2. **The DLD project status** for your specific building, through Dubai Land Department's project status enquiry service.
3. **The construction progress figure current on the date you check**, since both towers were around two thirds complete as of the dates shown here.
4. **How the 4% DLD fee is billed** alongside the 10/80/10 instalments, in writing, before you book.
