## When will Burj Azizi be handed over?

Construction on the current design restarted in August 2024, after an earlier construction attempt on the plot was halted in 2017 under previous ownership. As of May 2026, coverage described foundation works still in progress, including more than 200 workers on site and a single concrete pour of about 7,000 cubic metres. Given the tower's height and the range of published dates, treat the date in your sale and purchase agreement, not a press report, as the one that applies to your unit.

## What do homes in Burj Azizi cost?

At the February 2025 launch, coverage quoted prices of AED 10,000 to AED 17,000 per square foot. Current portal listings show a wider range by unit type.

## What is the Burj Azizi payment plan?

Several portals describe an 80/20 plan: 80% paid during the construction period and 20% on handover. Azizi's own published payment schedule does not confirm that split, so ask your sales contact to set out the plan in writing, including how the 4% Dubai Land Department registration fee is billed, before you book.

## Who is the developer and what is its handover record?

Azizi Developments says it has delivered more than 45,000 homes since it started building in Dubai, with 7 projects handed over in 2026 so far (Azizi via GDN, 15 Sep 2026). Its record is mixed on individual dates: Azizi Riviera has handed over the large majority of its 75 buildings, but the first buildings at Azizi Venice missed their promised Q1 2026 date and, as of September 2026, were rescheduled to hand over through 2026 and into 2027.

## What to check before booking

1. **The completion date in your sale and purchase agreement**, since published reports for Burj Azizi range from 2028 to 2030.
2. **The payment plan in writing**, including how the 4% Dubai Land Department fee is billed alongside any construction-linked instalments.
3. **Construction progress for this specific tower**, given its height and the scale of the works still under way in 2026.
4. **Azizi's handover record on comparable projects**, such as Azizi Venice, where a published date was later revised.
