Both towers are at an early stage. Tower 1 was 5.6% complete on 10 September 2026 and Tower 2 was 6% complete on 13 August 2026. Each added about 2 percentage points in the three months before those readings. The DLD values the project at AED 700 million, an estimate the developer submitted before construction (Propsearch).

The 50/50 plan puts 10% on booking, 40% during construction and 50% on handover (Property Finder). On a 1 bedroom bought at AED 7.3 million, the handover payment is about AED 3.65 million. On a 3 bedroom in Tower 2 at AED 34.3 million, it is about AED 17.15 million. Any change to the completion date moves this payment with it.

## What to check before relying on the Peninsula Dubai Residences date

1. **Which tower the unit is in.** The two towers share a registered date but are inspected separately, on different dates.
2. **The completion date and grace period in the SPA**, which governs the 50% handover payment.
3. **That the listing is the Jumeirah 2 project.** Some data pages mix it up with The Peninsula by Select Group in Business Bay, which has different towers and dates.
