## Short answer

DAMAC gives Q2 2027 as the Lagoon Views handover date. Dates on record differ by phase: 31 March 2027 for Lagoon Views 9 and 10, 30 June 2027 for Lagoon Views 11 and 12, and 31 December 2027 for Lagoon Views 13. At the latest DLD inspections, Lagoon Views 1 was 55.58% complete on 15 May 2026, Lagoon Views 9 and 10 about 47% on 1 September 2026, and Lagoon Views 13 only 5.96% on 3 July 2026. Each phase has its own date, so the one in your SPA is the one that applies.

## Key figures

- Completion dates on record (DLD): 31 Mar 2027 to 31 Dec 2027 (Lagoon Views 9 to 13, Continental Club)
- Most advanced phase: 55.58% (Lagoon Views 1, DLD inspection 15 May 2026)

## DAMAC Lagoon Views handover date: the latest position

DAMAC's own Lagoon Views page gives a handover date of Q2 2027 for its apartments at DAMAC Lagoons. No phase has been handed over, and none had passed 56% complete at its latest Dubai Land Department (DLD) inspection. Prices, sizes and payment plans are on the [DAMAC Lagoon Views](/projects/damac-lagoon-views/) page.

One date does not fit every phase. The DLD register tracks Lagoon Views as 13 projects with 3,287 homes. The completion dates on record run from 31 March 2027 for Lagoon Views 9 and 10 to 31 December 2027 for Lagoon Views 13. The first release, sold as [Andalucia](/projects/damac-lagoons-andalucia/), matches Lagoon Views 1.

Source: DLD registry via Continental Club, accessed 6 October 2026. Developer dates for Lagoon Views 9 to 13 are those supplied to Continental Club; others are from DAMAC's Lagoon Views page and Data Habibi. No Lagoon Views phase appeared among the projects recorded finished on the DLD register in September or October 2026.

The gap between progress and dates is widest in the later phases. Lagoon Views 9 and 10 need about 53 more points in seven months to meet 31 March 2027. They gained 10.52 and 8.55 points in their last inspection intervals of about four and a half months. Lagoon Views 13 has 18 months to its December 2027 date with 94 points to go, after gaining 1.08 points in seven months.

## How the DAMAC Lagoon Views handover date has changed

- **January 2024:** DAMAC launched the first release, Andalucia, with an anticipated completion date of January 2027 in its brochure (LDN Realtors; Petkovic Properties, 8 January 2024).
- **April 2024:** Construction of Lagoon Views 1 and 2 started on 6 April 2024, and of Lagoon Views 3 and 4 later that month (DLD via Continental Club).
- **August to November 2024:** Lagoon Views 9 and 10 started on 21 August, Lagoon Views 11 on 17 October, and Lagoon Views 12 and 13 on 18 November 2024, with dates of March, June and December 2027.
- **2026:** Property Finder still shows 2 January 2027 for Andalucia, while DAMAC's Lagoon Views page and Data Habibi give Q2 2027.

## What the DAMAC Lagoon Views handover date means for payments

The share due at handover depends on the release. The January 2024 brochure set 30% on completion under the 70/30 plan and 20% under the 80/20 plan, with small payments at 80% and 90% build progress. Lagoon Views 12 is listed with 20% on handover, and Property Finder lists 40% on handover for Andalucia. Those final payments fall due when DAMAC issues the handover notice, so they move with the completion date of each phase, not with the Q2 2027 headline.

## What to check before relying on the DAMAC Lagoon Views date

1. **The DLD project number of your building.** Lagoon Views 9 and Lagoon Views 13 are nine months apart on the register.
2. **The date and grace period in your SPA.** For Lagoon Views 1 to 8, the published register extract shows no completion date.
3. **The 80% and 90% milestone payments** in first-release plans, which fall due on build progress, not on dates.
4. **Whether you are buying Valencia, not Lagoon Views.** Valencia sits on the cancelled Lagoon Views 14 plot and has an estimated handover of Q1 2029 (Propsearch).
